The women are the ones risking their lives though. That's the thing. Women die from pregnancy. Women have permanent life altering conditions because of pregnancy. Saying that a potential being is more important than the woman isn't right, regardless of how you say it. If she dies, the fetus dies. If the fetus dies, she can still live.
